Profitable Group Not Interested in Newcastle United
Singapore based consortium the Profitable Group have pulled out of the race to buy Newcastle United. Reports state that the Profitable Group did not provide Mike Ashley with enough proof to the financial validity of their offer. Commercial Director of the Group Steve McMahon however has seen things differently:
“We have pulled out. How long can you keep hanging on? We have put a bid in and we have had no communication, no response – nothing. It really is poor form from Newcastle, but if that’s the way they want to run their business, good luck to them.”
The Championship side are currently languishing without a manager with Gary Linekar claiming Alan Shearer will be joining him back on the Match of the Day sofas – much to the dismay of football fans up and down the country.
