Charlton have recently slumped from a midtable Premier League side into one that is competing in the third tier of English football. The club; however, expect this slide to be halted and to climb back up the leagues. Charlton have very strong ties with their local community through coaching and community initiatives. This has also been expanded overseas to working with young people in Spain, South Africa, China, Belgium, Finland, Denmark and the Ivory Coast providing coaches and equipment as they go.
